Showing text when poll is hidden / locked

With this function you can display formatted text in case your survey is not displayed.
Often a survey, evaluation, vote, election, test, etc. should be pointed out but the actual function should only be available and displayed at a later point in time.

1. Select > survey management [main menu] and open the > settings of the desired survey.

Within the selected survey you can change the parameters of the entire survey with extra > settings.

2. Activate the option under > messages > [ ] custom layout for messages. Define the formatting and the displayed text for the function „survey blocked“.

3. Go back to the > project manager and check your settings with regard to the lock / unlock function of the survey.

4. With > apply or > save, your current settings are automatically updated via our „auto-refresh“ system in a time interval of 1 to a maximum of 10 seconds in the participant’s browser window.
In addition, no additional > saving & publishing of the entire project is necessary, or it is expressly not recommended during a live event!

(!) The use of this function is very cpu intensive due to the „auto-refresh“ process. We therefore reserve the right to increase the „refresh interval“ for projects with over 1,000 participants in order to minimize load peaks on the server systems.
