Cutting videos on the media server

After recording your live broadcast or after you have uploaded external videos to the > IMS Media Server, you have the option of cutting the individual videos on the server.

1. Open > IMS Media Server > VOD Streaming CDN and click on „cut“ next to the video you want to edit.

2. Enter the start and end point in the format hour:minute:second between which the part of the video that you want to „cut out“ plays. This part is then beeing cut and saved as a copy.

3. Check the cut video under > details > preview.

(!) After you have clicked on „cut“, press the f5 key after a few minutes to update the progress and to see the cut partial videos or to be able to edit them further.
